I won't be doing any crafting today, because Kitty is sick again and I don't think she'll pull through this time. She had been doing really well and had improved drastically since she was ill on Wednesday. This morning when I got up, I checked on her and she was in the middle of a fit. It looked like she was having some kind of seizure. Now she has been sleeping all day and won't eat anything. She turned 10 in October (average lifespan in the wild is 5-7 years, in captivity 10-12), so she's had a long life, but I am incredibly sad that it's most likely coming to an end. I'll be sitting with her tonight.
Poor kitty. I'll miss those beady little eyes and her raspberry noise.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear your bird is sick. But, its good she had a good, long life. Of course, that still doesn't make it any easier.
ReplyDeleteI had a cat who lived to be 15. When he got sick, it was fast... but we had to put him down, and he ended up dying in my arms. I still miss him.
Oh no! I am so sorry! I know how hard it is to lose a pet. I will be thinking of you this week.
