Used ink & colored pencil fr the woodland creatures side, then watercolor w/ masking fluid for the robot side... The robot's body has 2 of Asimov's laws of robotics on it, i couldn't fit the third :(
This page is based on a nightmare I had last night where Kitty was sitting on my shoulder outside and they flew up into the sky, where she was promptly swooped by a hawk and killed. I screamed no, then dropped to the ground and cried and cried.
I'm grateful it was just a dream! Kitty is clinging to my shirt just under my boobs half-asleep as I'm typing this :) Aww, like a little fruit bat with yellow feathers.
