Wonderous Colors! Painting textures for papercrafting...

Last night, very late, I decided to paint some colorful textures that I can use for ATCs and other papercrafts...
I painted onto a scrap piece of watercolor paper with a chunk already out of it, because I know I'll be cutting it all up anyways. I really love how it turned out, though. So I might do another on a full sheet, mask out some bird space and do an ink drawing on it... No cut ups.
Here's a favorite part! The key is to use very heavily pigmented paint, then dilute it with water on the paper, allowing the colors to run together. You want most of your paper to be wet for the majority of this process...It's messy.
Whee... I looooove these bright colors. I'm going to have fun cutting the heck out of this texture...
