Anyhoo, I hope you all don't mind the blatant Etsy linkage, but a crafty lady's gotta make some sweet moolah to spend on craft supplies and chocolate bonbons. I went to Michaels on Wednesday, and I bought ALL. THE. CLAY. Well, all the white polyclay...that was good quality...and on sale. I'm trying to sculpt up an inventory of Wicked Witch Bookmarks (buy!) so I'll be ready for the Christmas rush. I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Who Else Wants Shrinky Dink Earrings?
I made a bunch of pairs of shrinky dink earrings today! I was struck with the idea to make some for my shop this afternoon when I was attempting to take a nap. The nap wasn't very successful, but I did get some earrings made and listed today :)
I have this Marilyn stamp and I have been wanting to use it, so I made these ones, inspired by her pink "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" dress in my favorite movie!
Truth: I made these ones a long time ago and they've been sitting around my craft room... So, they're discounted, just for you.
Aaaaand, I had to make some Halloween ones. Honestly, I think Halloween is the funnest holiday to craft for. Pumpkins, witches, gargoyles, ghosts, black cats! I could go on...

Instant Replay: Lol Cats Charms
Okay folks, I know I haven't been updating as much as usual. I've been making stuff here and there, but it's mostly secret swap stuff. These have been posted before (last year, has it been so long?) But I loves them, and I want you to enjoy a few of my favorite old lolcats shrinky dink charms. Do enjoy and have a beautiful weekend, friends!
Bunny Rabbit Shrinky Earrings
This afternoon just completely ran away with me! I called my old BFF and we skyped and talked for like 2 hours!!! Glargh! I miss home sometimes :( Anyways, here's a set of shrinky earrings I made a few weeks back...
I looove Watership Down, so this is like homage to that book.

Owl Necklace w/ Swarovski Bling
These are a few of my favorite things: Shrinky dink, owls, and sparkle.
Made this cute little necklace using sharpie to trace the owl image to the shrinky dink... It's a reasonably slow process, but yields great results! Then I just added crystal rhinestones.... I am awfully sleepy! I took a 2 hour nap today (well, this evening) at 8 o'clock, so I know I won't be able to fall asleep quite yet.

Mary Poppins Charm Bracelet
I made this happy little Mary Poppins charm bracelet for a Disney swap...
Don't have much of a description for it, though. Glass beads and shrinky charms. What you see is what you get :)
When my brother and sister and I were little, we loved Mary Poppins soooo much. Our favorite part was at the very end of when they were tidying up the nursery and the cabinets kept opening and shutting and wouldn't let Michael out, then the song ends and the two little cabinet doors have one final open and shut... I hope someone out there reading this knows what I'm talking about...
Haha. ok.

Sealife necklace
Here we have a necklace I made for a sea-themed swap! It's my usual shrinky-dink method, then I embellished with swarovski beads...
Bird is the WORD! Shrinky necklace
Here's another swap project! This is a shrinky necklace with various bird charms for the bird swap!
I worked super hard on a birthday present for my bro today, and I WANT to post it, but he could be reading this, so I will refrain. I am SO excited about it, though. It turned out FAB, truly.

Cheshire Cat Pendant with FANCY swarovski
I'm not sure if it's laziness or a lack of creativity today, but here I go posting another old project! This is a rather fancy cheshire cat shrinky dink pendant adorned with a plethora (does 5 count as a plethora?) of swarovski crystal beads!
Here's the most extreme close-up I've ever given of any of the lovely images that grace the tops of my shrinky charms. If anyone is wondering, I use a fine-point sharpie and it creates this wonderful embossed effect once shrunken :)

Chipmunk Shrinky Earrings
It's my 3rd wedding anniversary on Tuesday!!! We're celebrating this weekend, though. I'm not sure if I'll have time to make something new to post today, but here's a little something to hold your attention.
Chipmunk or Squirrel shrinky dink earrings! I made these for the same swap partner as all the alice in wonderland stuff and squirrel stuff.Extreme close-up! I used silver-plated findings and accented with a delightful pink swarovski crystal.
Alice in Wonderland Jewelry
Here is a Cheshire Cat pendant made from Shrinky Dink! I glued on a couple of crystal rhinestones to add a little sparkle and pizazz!
I added jumprings to these later, so they could be switched out with the cheshire cat pendant on the gold chain! I especially love the white rabbit one. Probably because I love those colors :)

Kidnapped Squirrel Bobbins
As I will be spending the majority of this next weeks time working on something very secret and very special, I'm very pleased that s fellow craftster has received her swap items that I made for her! I'll be posting these things for the next week. There's some pretty sweet crap, so brace yourself.
Here are some embroidery thread bobbins made to look like silly squirrels that have been KIDNAPPED and tied up! They ended up a little smaller than I had hoped, but with the shrinky sheets I have, this is as big as they come.I tied em all up, and hope that they will be of use... Anyone who embroiders knows about the extra lengths of thread that are always left over when you switch colors. I guess that even though they're small, they can still serve a purpose :)
More Sanrio/Kawaii Goodness
A Chibimaru card wallet! This was the very first card wallet I made, and I was pretty pleased with the way it turned out.
I also made a bunch of miscellaneous shrinky dink charms, including a couple sets of teeny tiny charms which are sooo fun to make :)
Chococat headband... This was so flippin' cute that I totally wanted to keep it for myself. I resisted.
And here's the whole lot of stuff I sent to my partner.

Hello Kitty Projects >.<
Alas, now I can post a batch of swap projects, as they have been received and I can't spoil any surprises now! This was for the Super Sanrio/Kawaii swap on Craftster. This isn't all, but only the Hello Kitty stuff! I'll make another post hereafter.
Here is a gothic hello kitty shrinky dink necklace... My favorite part is, of course, the squirrel. These are hello kitty Shrinky Dink earrings with swarovski beads for a little sparkle!
A set of envelopes! They are all different shades of pink. Unfortunately, I didn't think about taking pics of them all spread out before I tied them up in a bundle. Just trust the fact that they are pretty cool.
Last but not least, a reversible Deerylou/Charmmy Kitty headband. I hand-painted the designs.
