How to make Rad Embossed Embellishments

 October... isn't it the BEST month for crafting? Making spooky Halloween stuff is so fun. Take a look at this Witchy little decoration I made using Alpha Stamps goodies.

 I got to have some fun playing with embossing powder, the new Celestial Cling Stamp set and Gilder's Paste.

Check out those embossed embellies :) I love them, they look so fancy. I'll show you how they're made.

 Use a slower drying stamp pad, like pigment ink and stamp your ornate image. 

 I like using clear embossing powder, because I can choose any color of pigment ink for the stamping and the embossed area is whatever color ink I chose. Pour a nice little hill of embossing powder all over your image, go ahead!

You'll pour any excess back into the jar, so there's no waste. Tap your paper gently to make sure all excess shakes off. 

Melt the stuck on embossing powder with a heat gun until all of the powder becomes shiny and transparent.

 Use your finger to smudge and rub on some Gilder's Paste all over the image. I'm using the Patina color on this. It's so pretty... It turns a beautiful deep turquoise color as you rub it in. You can also layer in other colors of Gilder's Paste like Inca Gold and it looks really cool, too!

 Cut out your image.

 Voila! Make one or ten, it doesn't matter. You'll be so stoked about how your embossed embellishments add something classy to your next project!
