Seagull with Landing Gear ATC

Yay! Now that AlwaysInspired has received this ATC, I can post it! She said she liked birds with tennis shoes, so I had to oblige :) This ATC is titled "Proper Landing Gear."

I had to find the shoes from a magazine first (these feet are Selma Blair's). It's much easier to draw a bird that goes with the shoes rather than try to find shoes that are perfect for the bird. I've tried that before and it's maddening... you can search through each page of ten magazines and find several pairs that would have been just right, if they weren't standing in the opposite direction you need! Anyways, happy Wednesday, everyone!

Cats having fun! ATC's! YAY!

Hey! Looks like a cat supply catalog gets delivered to my new place addressed to "current resident." I saw it in the mailbox and said, hey that's me! So it looks like I get to play around clipping out cats for my papercrafting. Hooray for unexpected supplies. It's funny because about half of all the "cat models" in the catalogs look ticked off. These cats are having a PARTY!

Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I was feeling superhorrid all afternoon and evening and didn't leave the couch. Well, I feel a bit better today, so I hope you enjoy my silly cat ATCs.

Time Capsule from the early 1990's

When we moved, I unearthed a box of old stuff from my childhood that I haven't looked at in years. There were a lot of old drawings and books I made from when I was ages 5 to 8. I had a good laugh at some of the crazy things I drew as a little kid, so I thought I'd share some OLD art today.

This is a set of drawings from a book I made about jelly beans. Jumping beans, beans stuck to the ceiling, beans on someone's feet (with one saying, "Oh, girls!" for some reason)

Here we have a squirrel complete with bushy tail, bucked teeth and what appears to be an acorn in its paw.

A set of random drawings. The first one looks like a turtle with a yellow umbrella, then an angry bunny or something, an oval making a stupid face, then I'm guessing a picture of my childhood budgie.

Aaaaaaand in case you needed a reminder, there were no dinosaurs in 1993.
