Hoo hoo.
I made this colorful owl ornament at the request of a friend who needed a little gift for an owl-loving buddy. I used that delicious American Crafts smooth glitter paper, and sequins to add some shine and pizzazz. Today is all rainy and icky, so I need a little glimmer to look at.Here's a close-up of the owl, which is just ink and watercolor on watercolor paper, then cut out and stuck on with stickyback foam. I think the colors turned out pretty well. Bright, just how I like 'em.
Hope everybody is having a great weekend!

Very cute and cheerful little owl ornament! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
Super adorable, Kira! I really like how the little owl pops out.
I love your watercolors! Emma is back to preferring I print the pictures out for her. Makes me a bit sad, but I still love to see her playing with watercolors.
Any chance you are going to put together a fun coloring book for kids anytime soon in a PDF format that I can print out for her to color?
Maybe? Please?
Love it!! Did you draw that owl? He is so perfect and cute. Would make an awesome stamp!
That is a darn adorable and very pretty owl. I really like the freeform spots on its head. I am sure the owl-loving friend will be thrilled to receive it.
