Sea Monster Embroidery

Here's that sea monster I mentioned yesterday! Not as many colors to it as I usually like, though ;) I think I'm going to save up my embroiderings and then use them as blocks in a quilt eventually. Very eventually. I can't imagine making an actual real-sized quilt any time soon!
Bubblies.
Did some more french knots, and I do say, I think I've got the hang of them! I colored in the monster with colored pencil, but next time I'll color in BEFORE I do the knots. Coloring around them is no good.

I really like this, and I think you are an amazing embroiderer. In fact, my main form of art is embroidery, and I thought I was pretty great, but your technique and skills pretty much blow MY skills out of the water... I mean, the detail in your work is SO NICE. Makes my stuff seem so simple to me now..

you are so amazing! WOW! Do you freehand the pattern or do you draw it on first? Either way it's amazing talent! lolz I might need to start embroidering again!

Thanks for all your awesome comments, guys :) They make my day!!!!

Audio, I only drew on the shapes of the waves because I wanted them to be straight across. From there it's all freehand, doodly doodling. Honestly, I don't really know how the heck patterns work... Do you trace them in a window or lightbox or what?
