Yellow Orchids

Got back from our weekend vacation in Florida a few hours ago. Sheesh, I am tired. I can't imagine why I reasoned with myself that I'd have enough energy to create something new today... Thus, another old painting! I'll be back to post new stuff probably tomorrow.

This is an acrylic and watercolor painting I did in 2006 or 2007 of some yellow orchids.

I think the real thing looks better in person....this detail shot makes the lightened areas look very white and washed out, but in person the colors blend much better :)
